C asks: Thanks for all the helpful publishing information, and congrats on your book!! Here's my question for Q&A Thursday: I’m about to send query letters out for my first book, a novel. I’m also researching a second, a nonfiction journalism/analysis/memoir hybrid. Should I limit my search for agents to ones who would be a good fit for both projects? Further, should I mention my second book project in my query letter? It’s an exciting idea imo, and I plan to try to sell it on proposal (unlike the novel, which is complete). I’ve published short work in both fiction and nonfiction, if that’s relevant.
