S asks: Do agents have their interns ask for full manuscripts? I received a full request from an intern at an agency I did send a query to. I understood the process to go: agent has intern screen their slush pile for queries and then from there the agent reaches out if they want to see more but maybe interns do the asking directly? I was trying to suss it out and found that the intern is legit and working at the agency, so maybe? Thanks!
