Q&A Wednesday: Make Up Edition

Q&A Wednesday: Make Up Edition

Hi Friends!

I'm having a VERY productive week, mostly because no one is emailing me. I love it! I also wanted to make up for not sending a Q&A last week. I know most of you don't particularly care but I do and I am dedicated to giving value to my paying subscribers. You are all amazing. Thank you so much.

SO! Let's answer some questions, shall we? We'll have another special Thursday edition this week, probably on Friday. Happy day, Turkeys!

💡
Don't forget! Paid subscribers can ask me questions for Q&As! Just fill out this form.
P asks: Three agents have asked to see my manuscript. I have clear preferences for my first, second and third choice. If my third choice tells me she wants to represent me, but I haven't heard back from the others, can I tell the third choice I need more time to decide, and get in touch with the other two, asking them to make a decision quickly? If so, what's the best way to do it? Will doing it kill my chances of getting the third choice to represent me if the others turn me down?

First: this is the best problem to have. 😄

Second: if you are not enthusiastic about having your third choice agent represent you, why did you query them?
