This is just the motivation I needed to tackle restructuring the manuscript I finished a year ago and only queried a handful of times. Thanks!

300 Paintings!!!!! I saw this in NY and LOVED IT. I think you will too.

Shirley: A Ghost Story! One woman show about Shirley Jackson. Mesmerizing!

Friends recommend HOLE: The Musical but I missed it unfortunately.

And Hold On to Your Butts was so so so funny. We missed Fly You Fools but I hear that's also great.

Glad you had a good time in Edinburgh and London -- two of my favorite places! I've been to the top of Arthur's Seat several times.

I’m 9 books, two series into an indie career, and it’s a good thing I have a pension. The relentless mental beat down of not being ‘successful’ is soul sucking. I like my books, but I decided with the one I’m working on now to write exactly what I wanted, to not worry about time or how I’d market. I don’t think I’d be writing now without that decision.

"why bother doing it for a story you don't love?" Wow, now there's the right-thing-at-the-right-time thing for me to read! Actually, the whole interview. Thank you both!
